This was our 9th time visiting Tavira but the 1st time in this property. The villa is very well presented and contains all the essential requirements but lots more too. There is no air con but we did not find we needed it. The roof terrace has plenty of room to sunbathe comfortably and there is a great BBQ and a good 4 seater table & chairs. Access to the terrace is via a flight of stairs but there is good sturdy hand-rail for support. The views from the terrace are superb. The valley in which the villa sits goes straight down to the sea with just a couple of other properties dotted around. There is a small-holding opposite but there is no problem at all with noise or being overlooked.
We chose this villa because of the hot tub on the roof. We had some issues warming the water to a temperature comfortable for May but we were supplied with a 'bubble wrap' cover so with the suns help during the day we got there but it took a couple of days which was disappointing. We used it... more
