The apartment is light and spacious and has been furnished to a superior standard. It is on the first and second floors of a 3 storey block, accessed through a gated courtyard with entry phone. The pedestrian exit from the secure car park also brings you into the gated courtyard. There are south facing balconies on each floor with impressive sea views. Sandy beaches are only 2 minutes walk away and numerous affordable restaurants and coffee bars line the waterfront. The condo was large and clean situated at the end of water front. Part of the complex is unfinished due to the market crash 2008. The managers were attentive and responded quickly to phone calls. Some arrival misinformation between owner and managers regarding a meeting point to get keys to condo. more

We had the wonderful opportunity to stay at the tastefully decorated condo in August 2011. The condo has two floors. On entry you find a bright and large front hall, to the immediate left is a large kitchen, with all appliances and amenities. There is a small eating nook. There is a bathroom,a s wells washer and dryer not he first floor. There is a large common room, with sizeable dining room table, and nice sitting area. the doors open onto a wonderful deck, with a view to the left of the ocean. We enjoyed many late day meals on the deck, or catching up with family member at the end of the day. The second floor has two bedrooms, both with access to a second floor balcony, and ensuite bathrooms. All this comes with air conditioning.
Cabanas the village is is quiet and off the beaten path. If you are looking for a wonderful place to relax and drink in the Portuguese atmosphere without too many internationals, this is your place. We will be back this summer!
