Although on request B&B is accommodated this is the kind of place you lease for a week or more for a large family or good gang of friends. We had a party of 18 at its height and thoroughly enjoyed the entire stay. Sal makes everyone feel incredibly welcome and will help with anything from posting back forgotten items to arranging wine tasting at the chateau to advising which local spots to go and see.
Definitely more suited to self catering which is easily done with a well furnished kitchen and walk in fridge, although Sal and her team will cater if required.
The pool is in tip top condition and compliments the view over the valley that the enormous outside oak table sits for chilled breakfasts, long lunches and riotous dinners.
The house is a real piece of living history and while some have commented that it has seems a bit worn I would say it's character is so much more preferable than a stale and soul-less hotel or recently converted Gite.
