Porthole Cottage is the ideal base for visiting Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Ballintoy and Ballycastle to name just a few of the top attractions in the immediate neighbourhood. The Dark Hedges at Stranocum are just a 10 minute drive - ideal photo opportunity. Belfast and the Titanic centre is approx 60 km- easily managed in an hour or so. Also the Andrew Jackson centre Carrickfergus is another must to put on your itinerary, as is the castle at Carrickfergus.     Airport: Belfast International Airport, Belfast City Airport, Dublin Airport: 50.3 mi
    From Ballycastle take the road for Ballintoy. Pass through Ballintoy village, continue for approx 1 mile till you see a sign for Whitepark Bay on right. At this junction turn left into Moycraig Road (signposted Mosside). Drive up this road for approx half a mile and turn into second lane on right. When the lane divides bear left into No 19 - you have arrived at Porthole Cottage.

It was a wonderful experience of living here. The owners are just as helpful as they can, which is what impressed me the most. Just 10 mins walk to whitepark bay. Ideal for summer vacation. If I get the chance, I will definitely stay here again.:-) more

We stayed in Porthole Cottage for a week in June 2012. We were met on arrival by the owner, who had lovely home baking all ready for us on the kitchen table. My wife and I had a pleasant and relaxed one-week stay in Porthole Cottage. The weather was variable, and on the day that it rained non-stop we just stayed in and were very comfortable.
