    On entering the house you will find a large living room with 3 large sofas around an original fireplace with log burner. On the ground floor you will also find a well-equipped kitchen with a table and four chairs this leads to a dining room with a large table seating 12.
    From the dining room, stairs lead up to the mezzanine twin bedroom.

    From the living room, an original wooden staircase leads up to the first floor. First you will come to the children's twin bedroom with bunkbed. Next is the spacious and light master bedroom with king-size bed. There is also a bathroom on this floor with WC, sink and bath with shower fitting.

    On the second floor is a further bedroom with double bed and en suite WC, sink and shower.

    Additional Rate and Availability Information
    A 25% deposit is due on booking , the balance is payable 8 weeks before your holiday. A refundable security deposit of 200 euros is also payable two weeks before you arrive, this is refunded within a week of your departure.
    Normal usage of electricity is included within the rent between April to September. Between October and March, electricity is recharged at the end of your stay, depending on consumption.

    Bed linen and towels can be supplied upon request - 17.50 euros per person

We spent a week in July at L'Ancienne Poste and liked it very much. We were a group of 4 (2 couples - retirement age). The house has space for at least 4 more people, but is probably best suited for families with children because of the bunk beds in the second bedroom. Two things that might make it awkward for some people/groups are: (1) The en-suite bathroom in the bedroom on the top floor of the main part of the house is actually part of the room and not a separate room which may create privacy issues for some people. (2) The twin bedroom in the mezzanine above the dining room does not have easy access to a bathroom - down one flight of stairs, across three rooms and up a flight of stairs. Other than those issues (which didn't bother our group), the place is great. Parking is no problem. The kitchen is well equipped, the washer and dryer work well, and a wireless network had just been added. The boulangerie across the street is still there and very busy.

We booked this property for a last minute break and found a real gem. The property is beautifully presented, well equipped (including bicycles!) and the beds are incredibly comfortable. There is a bolongerie almost directly opposite and several very good restaurants within a 10 minute drive. We had a great holiday and will definitely be returning. more
