Stayed with family and friends in group of c 13 people. Everything worked wonderfully well.
Chalet is in orelle, 5 mins drive from ski lift up towards val thorens. Good sized kitchen and dining room, couple of lounges for children to crash out in and enough sleeping space for all.
Benefit of chalet is it is spacious and informal for large group. Orelle is small quiet village, ideal for children to wander safely post skiing. if you want to eat out there are various bars and restaurants c10 mins drive away, and there Is a complex with pool etc nearby.
Ski lift takes c15 mins in cable car (never that busy and we were in half term week) then you are up in the3 valleys and can ski across to val thorens.
There are other lower skis resorts in driving distance but there was all we wanted in the 3 valleys!
