    This property comprises an old 'Mas' house and 2 adjoining modern self-contained apartments, arranged around a private pool. Set in its own grounds, the entire is let as one property. Rows of vines adorn the surrounding fields, with olive and apricot trees in abundance.

    The old 'Mas' house has 3 bedrooms (double, twin and single) and the two adjoining apartments have 2 bedrooms each (double + bunk room) and (twin + bunk room).

    Each apartment has its own kitchenette / living room providing the basics. Free-to-air satelliteTV (with DVD player) and a stereo are in the main house. Sky users should bring their sky viewing card to access the Sky satellite.

    The ample accommodation will suit an extended family, or two families sharing their holiday.

During August 2012 our family, of ten, ranging from grandparents to grandchildren, enjoyed an excellent, relaxing, “making memories” family holiday, in a comfortable home boasting many facilities, set in a pleasant and very convenient location. The principal accommodation is comprised of a converted historic farmhouse and two apartments or cottages, in the grounds. The location provides easy access to the mediaeval village of Mirabelle (about four minutes away, by car, enabling among other features an excellent daily supply of fresh bread, etc) also, the town of Nyons; to the Provencal countryside, other towns and villages, coupled with the many additional features and facilities, the latter too numerous to list here. We would be very happy to re-visit this property in the future.

Among many other factors, the property offers excellent value for money, by comparison with other comparable local offerings.

We stayed here in 2010 when the property had relatively recently been taken over by its current owners, and we knew they had plans to update and renew various aspects.
But we loved it as it was!
Like any old property it had its quirky features; a particularly bad rainstorm flooded the courtyard, and some of the security shutters were unreliable) , but if you go on this type of holiday you fit work your holiday around the infrastructure. And the owners had made sure that furniture and beds etc were in top condition.

As I say, we adored the place.
Unlike some properties we've rented in France there was a real sense that the owners were genuinely bothered that you relaxed and kicked back - and the house had a feel of being a home which we "borrowed" for a bit, with no pressure for "homes and gardens" perfection.

The pool is surrounded by mature plants. This does make for a few leaves needing clearing as you swim, but also made it a great...

We knew we had some room for improvement and that's what we've now done. In 2011, we replaced all of our kitchen units and worktops and we fitted new floor tiles.
