The property has many apartments ( 5 ?) in this wonderful old building. The beds, space and bathroom were fine but the kitchen in our top floor apartment was only fit for simple cooking as there was no oven only a couple of gas rings. There is no garden to sit in.
It suited us as it is just off the center of town and a 2 minute walk to buy bread in the morning. There are evening social activities in the town square organised by the tourist office and similar events in other local villages. We packed alot into 6 days including visits to local castles, bike rides in through the vineyards and for the boys a great treck with mountain bikes into the forests and of course much eating in the fabulous restaurants. We also visited the Nazi concentration camp at Nazwiller which is mind numbing.
This region is great if you like good food, wine, history, old quaint villages, vineyards and sitting around in street cafe's. more
