Maui Sands is located on the West side of Maui a few minutes north of Kaanapali. Were at the very end of North Kaanapali Beach. The address is 3359 L. Honoapiilani Rd. One of the special features about the Maui Sands Resort is that you can walk from the the Maui Sands Resort, on the beach, past Dukes Restaurant down to Kaanapali and Black Rock! "On the beach" being the key words! Any property north of ours (Honokowai, kahana, Napili, Kapalua) may say ocean front, but the majority of the ocean front properties, you can't walk but walk more than 50 feet in either direction!!! Reason being, the further north you go, the more Lava rocks protrude into the ocean hindering your walk. You'll notice the Kaanapali area has large sandy beaches. Up north there tend to be just beach coves separated by large lava rocks. So, if you want to go on a nice sunset walk on the beach, plan on getting in your car and driving down to our area! Walk down the beach to Dukes Restaurant or to downtown Kaanapali ON THE BEACH!
