    The light and airy lounge diner has a TV with DVD player.There is comfortable seating and a selection of books, games and DVDs to help in relaxing over a glass or two of local wine! There is internet access for those who need it and the house has newly installed central heating.

    There is seating for 6 people at the refectory table and the kitchen has a double oven and gas hob, an integrated dishwasher, large fridge and ample crockery and cooking utensils. There is also an oak larder unit for food and wine storage.

    Upstairs, the property has 2 double rooms, one with a kingsize bed, the other with an antique mahogany double bed. Bedding is provided for use during your stay.

    The remaining bedroom has a bunk bed; on request there is provision for a further bed with a single 'guest'...

    The property has recently been renovated and has a wonderful, fully equipped, kitchen. The outside barn has a wonderful traditional bread oven which is perfect for making your own fresh pizza!
    There is a lovely enclosed log fire in the front room for cooler evenings, providing full central heating for the winter months.
    Satellite television and internet access are available.

    There is a strict non smoking policy anywhere in the house, but you can of course smoke outside in the courtyard area.

    Railway: Mortagua: 5.0 mi
    Ferry: Santander: 397.7 mi
    Ryan air offer low cost flights to Porto from London, Liverpool and Dublin. Other airlines including Easy jet and TAP also fly into both Porto and Lisbon airports. Casa do Limao is a one and a half hour drive from Porto Airport and two and a half hour drive from Lisbon. Car hire is recommended and many reputable companies operate from both of these airports.

    If you wish to drive here, the nearest ferry is at Santander in Northern Spain.

We stayed here for two weeks, it was a perfect villa so many say their kitchens are fully equipped but are not, this one is; the flattened screens on the ground floor speed and Windows gives good air flow minus bugs, WiFi was good, entertainment system could be better no Sat channels at all so take enough DVD s there... more

What a delightfully out of the way spot, very comfortable little house with plenty of room for four people. The kitchen was very well appointed with plenty of equipment, some of which we had no idea what they were for. Everything worked and we were especially grateful for the really good espresso maker.
