Had a lovely time with extended family (grandparents, parents and toddler) in this beautiful villa, at the top of the cliff before town.
One thing to note, the villa is quite far from the centre of town which means you're reliant on buses, taxis or cliff walking to get around. This is fine since driving in positano is annoying but don't turn up expecting to walk straight into the harbour.
We actually enjoyed the beautiful location, and it meant we discovered parts of positano that we wouldn't otherwise have seen.
Two tips for restaurants which will pick you up at the villa and drop you back for free are La Tagliata (wonderful homemade food, fixed menu, free wine, amazing value for money and quality) and Ristorante da Comstantino (hearty traditional Italian and wonderful friendly service) more
