Villa Adonia couldn't have been more perfect for me and my family. In terms of location, it was very close to Positano Town Hall, the venue for our wedding ceremony scheduled for the middle of our stay. This was one of the main reasons for choosing the villa, which proved to be a wise decision as we had fantastic weather all week... except on the Wednesday, our wedding day, when it rained all day! So the close proximity of the villa meant our party kept reasonably dry, venturing out only for the short stroll to the hall.
The villa was very spacious indeed. It was bigger, and better, than we had expected. The images on the Summer In Italy website, although very well taken, probably can't do it enough justice. It is a truly spectacular property, inside and out, and the views all around were stunning. Positano is, of course, very picturesque and the villa affords some of the best views you can hope to see of the surrounding town and overlooking the sea.
