Having a disabled son has meant that over the last 21 years I have had to stay in a villa for all holidays. This villa is by far the most filthy, it was dusty, full of cobwebs and dead flies with broken tiles and exposed pipework. The shower areas were dirty, the plugholes filled with hair and they had cupholders and soap dishes which were thick of dried dirt and soap scum.
They had bath mats and towels that I wouldn't have used to wash my sisters dog with. The kitchen (kettle-less) was smelly and the cupboards were foisty and dirty. Electric sockets were covered with dirty old tape. Old copper pipes were exposed and dirty. My disabled son was sitting on the settee which then left filthy patches on his clothes. We had to wear flip flops to shower. Outside the property was grubby and old, we couldn't sit on the outdoor furniture for fear of insect bites.
