Although the category above is spouse/partner we were joined part way through the week by our daughter who has been living in England for over six years and I have to say it was one of the best holidays we have had. The house provided excellent accommodation for the three of us while the town was lovely. We had the luck to stay in the week of the fortnightly market and we stocked up on the great cheeses and produce of the area, plus tried just a couple of the wines; after all it is Burgundy. There is plenty to see and do if you have a car and just to experience some of the history that surrounds you in places like the Burgundy area is fascinating for travelers from Australia where there is only a written history of about 250 years.The owner was very helpful with directions and advice and therefore our stay was made very pleasant. I would recommend staying at Maison Johnson for anyone looking for a quite and relaxing holiday.
