    The Old Customs House

    The Old Customs House occupies a unique position actually on Mudeford Quay, Christchurch. It forms part of the 16th Century Grade 2 listed building known as 'The Dutch House' and is one of only seven cottages on the quay head. It is arranged over two floors with 2 bedrooms, both with spectacular views over the Solent to the Isle of Wight, and has been totally modernised throughout and furnished to the highest standards.

    It comfortably sleeps 4 with the main bedroom boasting a four poster bed. It has a washer dryer, dishwasher, microwave, American style fridge freezer, oven, steam oven, hob, a large flat screen TV in the lounge, a DVD player/recorder and a Bose SoundDock.. Please note that the wood burner shown is not available for general use.

    The owners car park pass, which allows you to park on the quay head adjacent to the cottages, is available for an extra deposit of £100. This is to cover costs of subsequent guests parking in the nearby pay and display public car park should the pass be inadvertently taken away, up until it is returned.

I have stayed at the cottage a number of times and each time I don't want to leave. Aside from the wonderful location which speaks for itself, Jane has thought of absolutely everything, from books and DVDs to those little annoying things you always forget to bring. The house is beautiful, immaculately clean and extremely comfortable.
Everything in the house is of the highest quality with a lovely personal touch.
I cannot recommend this property enough.

Stayed at The Old Custom's house for a 5 day break, wish it had been longer.
Exceptionally well equipped house, in a fantastic location.
Looking forward to going back next year, if not before.
