We had 4 nights at the Porter's Office at Tavistock Railway Station, we were met and shown around by the owners who had restored the station.
The accommodation was fantastic, all very clean and smart, very Laura Ashley. Everything you could wish for was there.
The kitchen was superb, with dish washer .
The heating was available if needed and had been put on to take the chill off.
A short cut took us down into the town where there were plenty of places to eat.
We got the train from Gunislake to Plymouth and spent the day exploring. We also visited Morwellham Key which was very interesting.
Would go there again any time.
