It enjoys a sunny aspect with views over the Sid valley and hillsides. There is a frequent bus service to Sidmouth with it's two beaches and the cathedral city of Exeter is within each reach. Just returned from 1 week at The Farthings, 1st impresion lovely with good off road parking, clean weclome hallway, enter the lounge area follwed on with the dinning area, into the kitchen with all equipment you would need to make any sort of meal, BUT I THINK THE KETTLE & WASH BOWL could do with replacing. Out doors an enclosed garden with patio and lawn, seating & table, sun all day long, must be lovely in the summer months, also in the garage more chairs & a washing machine..
Up stairs 3 good bedrooms, 1 double, 1 twin & bunk beds each with its own wardrobes, dressing tables mirrors etc etc. Now for the down side the bathroom, was clean but really could do with a new suite, its looks very unappealing, Location perfect you are within walking distance into Simouth, down a very nice walk along the river, close shops and several bars & restaurants.. But you must also be aware you have to fetch & return the keys in Beer, a couple of miles down the...

This is property is relatively cheap and has off-road parking and the location , while not in Sidmouth proper is quiet with access to Sidmouth town and the sea via the Byes; a pleasant walk. Those are the main plus points.

Negatives are that you have to collect the keys (and return them) to the agency in Beer. Not ideal if like us you had a 6 hour journey. The house was not cleaned properly. I am pretty sure it says 'no pets' (we usually check) and yet the door mats smelt of dog and there was a dog bowl in one of the cupboards. The carpets were not clean, there were hairs on the bath (nice) and all the kitchen cupboard door handles were sticky when you opened them. Not what you expect really. If the agency use contract cleaners then they either turn up and leave in one motion or else sit and watch TV until they think enough 'cleaning time' has elasped. The proprtty has 3 bedrooms but it would be much more practical as a 2 bed with a bigger bathroom (one with a blind to...
