For us, this was an excellent alternative to a standard hotel or B&B room due to the separate living area and kitchen (which we realise is essential when travelling with a young child!) A holiday cottage wasn't an option for us as we only needed to stay a single night.
The accommodation is a spacious ground floor apartment which is finished to a high standard. Fixtures and fittings are good quality and the decor is tasteful. The location is great as it is close to the village centre (1 minute walk) but feels very private as it is down a quaint lane off the main road. The village centre offers some essentials such as a Co-op (which has a cash machine inside), a couple of takeaways (good Indian) and a pub.
