    The Attica region

It is known that most of the foreigners visit Athens in order to see the Acropolis, this exquisite monument which stands proudly on its hill for so many years. The Erechtheum, the Parthenon, the temple of Athena Nike and the Propylaea along with the New Museum of the Acropolis are seen by dozens of visitors every day. The ancient Agora, the theatre of Dionysus, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and Philopappou Hill are a few more sites preferred by the people who come to admire the antiquities.

My husband and I intended to stay here for three nights. We had a late flight and it was further delayed, so Peter contacted us and offered to get us a hotel for the first night (because he was having difficulty having someone meet us at the late hour). He paid for us to stay at the Hilton with fabulous... more
