This was my second visit to the Lagos townhouse; I also stayed there for a few weeks during peak season August.. The fact that I returned for a second visit is a recommendation in itself. For anyone wanting to stay in the centre of Lagos town, the location is perfect; it is very close to beaches, shops, restaurants and bars, but sufficiently secluded to ensure a good night's sleep.
The accommodation is spacious, tasteful and comfortable - what more could anyone ask? A few essentials were left in the fridge for us on both visits; a really welcoming touch, especially if you arrive after the shops have shut. Free wi-fi is also available, for those who need to stay in touch with the outside world.
There is a really lovely courtyard, partly surrounded by an old wall, with very comfortable patio furniture - perfect for a few lazy hours of reading, eating or drinking. There is also an upper terrace area, accessed by a spiral staircase, which we didn't make much use of...
