Charming Old Dutch Townhouse in Central Delft

    Located in the midst of an old Dutch town next to a canal, walking distance from 94 restaurants and just a tram ride from The Hague and Scheveningen beach, this is a three storey house situated above a candy shop. This unique property is full of charm and character with old beams and historic features . With three bedrooms and a spacious living room, it caters for 6 people but can at a maximum accommodate 8. The house is called 'De Derde' (the third) and enjoys kitchen sun in the morning and afternoon sun on the balcony.

    Airport: Schiphol Airport: 44.7 mi
    Railway: Delft Central: 0.5 mi
    Ferry: Hoek van Holland: 19.9 mi
    Getting there:
    The train station is an 8 minutes walk from the house.
    Do not take a taxi, it will take longer then walking to the house.

    The train from Schiphol to Delft leaves from Schiphol Train station at platform 4/5. Usually
    there is a change over in Leiden to the train on the opposite platform. Sometimes the
    change over is at Holland Spoor. A single adult ticket costs about 15 euro.

    The tram to The Hague is 20 minutes and the beach is 40 minutes: tram number 1 to both.
    The tram stop is a 4 minutes walk from the house (Prinsenhof is the closest), located on Phoenixstraat.

    A low cost taxi ride to and from the airport (75 Euro) can be pre-booked online
    google taxi schiphol to arrange ride. Avoid airport taxi's and taxi touts.

House is wonderful in the center of Delft, and near to almost every attraction in the old town. Despite being over 200 years old, it has all the comforts. We had a nice stay more

This house is so beautiful classic old home, located in a perfect place, walking to shops, all kind of delicious restaurants, Ferdinand the owner was very helpful and nice. We also used to travel to Delft so after searching around I thought it would be nice to stay here and introduce the younger generation to Holland :) De Derde was perfect for us.
