    Property description
    Condo/Apartment –
    2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 4
This historic house was built in the 17th century. It is situated in one of the most charming parts of the canal belt om the famous Jordaan district near Anne Frank's house and the Noordermarkt.
It's a lively neighbourhood with many restaurants, shops and bars.

The house is split level with two bedrooms, a modern kitchen, seperate bathroom and toilet and patio in the back. The apartment does not have steep stairways which can be found in many of Amsterdam's houses, but there are a few steps (see pictures).
The apartment was renovated 5 years ago with a new layout and modern amenities. It is directly on the canal with large windows capturing the full view.

This apartment is on Prinsengracht and in a fantastic location for shops, cafes and beautiful canals; right near Anne Frank house too. We arrived very late due to plane delay and the agents were exceptionally helpful and communicative; reassuring as we had children travelling with us. The apartment is small and open plan (not good for very little children with no awareness of danger) but well catered for ; washing machine and dishwasher, all cooking stuff you need. All the houses in this part of Amsterdam are cheek by jowl, so noise carries easily, and double glazing is not allowed, so when it's hot outside it's hot inside. These are minor points and the overall experience in such an historic and charming part of Amsterdam outweighs them. Apartment has top views for the Gay Pride canal parade too! more

First time ever rented a canal house in Amsterdam. We were quite impressed and very much enjoyed living amongst the "Amsterdammers" for 2 weeks. Loved how close everything was (Anne Frank House is a block away) and got a great sense of what it is to live in Amsterdam.
This is an old house (anno 1620) and bathroom and restroom are "so,so" in size and relative comfort, but overall, we would go back here and rent it again.
