    Podere Zollaio is a small agriturismo located on the outskirts of Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo, with beautiful views over Vinci village and the surrounding countryside.
    Our 4 apartments are ideal for couples and young families looking for accommodation in a tranquil setting to relax and to explore Tuscany.
    It is ideally based to visit the main cities of art.
    We have a swimming pool, a whirlpool a patio with "al fresco" dining facilities and garden for our guests to enjoy.
    For our younger guests we have a swing, a sand pit and a lot of space to run around.
    For animal lovers we have 9 cats, 2 goats (Martina and Daisy) and 3 donkeys (Camilla, Viola and Gino)

    The price of rental is inclusive of all mains services, 8 hours of heating per day (in winter), use of swimming pool and whirlpool (in summer).
    Linens and towels are provided with the exception of the beach towels for use at the pool that can be hired at the cost of Euro 3 each per week.
    Children under 3 years of age stay free of charge and we can provide a cot and a high chair.
    From March 2012 Vinci council as well as other councils around Tuscany have introduced "Tourist tax" which require that our guests pay Euro 1 per person per day for a maximum of 6 days of their stay. Children under the age of 14 and the registered disable are among the categories that are exempt from the tax.

    Vinci, birthplace of Leonardo, is a small village on a hilltop surrounded by vineyeards and olive groves. It sits just below the Montalbano hill that used to be the hunting reserve to the Medici family.
    It has a museum dedicated the life, studies and works of Leonardo and the Da Vinci family home which has been recently refurbished and hosts an exibition of digital reproductions of Leonardo's most famous paintings.
    Vinci is the perfect base to visit all the main cities of art: Florence, Pisa, Siena and Lucca are easy to reach either by car or by train. San Gimignano, Volterra, Certaldo and Montecatini will also offer alternative itineraries for you to explore.

I almost hesitate to share positive reviews of Vinci- I want it to stay just like it is!!! We loved our stay at Podere Zollaio, in Casa Anita. Chiara, Lisa and Ian are wonderful hosts. Chiara helped us with some information- one of which the recommended wine tour at Villa Dianella was one of the highlights of out stay. Beautiful!!!!...

We just returned from a six night stay at the Mansarda studio apartment. It really is the perfect, relaxing Tuscan vacation spot. The studio is spacious and well equipped and everything, including the wine, olive oil and visiting cat makes for a very comfortable stay.
