If you want to really see Tuscany and enjoy the local culture this is the place. We did not even rent a car. The villa itself is lovely and the hosts were absolutely terrific. As B&B owners oursleves, we really appreciated the help they gave us during our stay. The villa is in the county, but only a 10 minute...

Get the A1 until Bettolle val di Chiana, exit and take the speedway to Siena,exit at Rapolano, pass Asciano and arrive to monteroni d'Arbia

Coming from Florence, Siena
Only 7 miles south of Siena, along the river Arbia arrive to the village of Monteroni d'Arbia, reachable with the SR 2 Cassia road.
Turn in Via Lauretana SP 12 toward Asciano and immediately turn left on a white dirt raod after passing the bridge on the river.The first villa on your right is the agriturismo San fabiano.
