Just returned from a weeks stay in the "Coat of Arms" apartment. It was our first trip to Italy, and whilst the villa looked perfect before our stay, it was even better. The village,Navacchio,is on the main train line between Pisa and Florence, so getting about without a car is easy.The village has a couple of good local restaurants, and also two good shops and another two good supermarkets if you choose to dine in the apartment. Donatella , the owner also gave us good advice for Restaurants in Pisa itself.The villa is stunning,and as we are not art or culture lovers was wasted on us. But even we could see that the work that has been done and that that still needs doing is exceptional. Words or pictures do not do it justice you have to see it to appreciate it.
