The owner, Paolo, was great at responding quickly to questions via the message centre on TripAdvisor. He was very accommodating regarding our late arrival and was still very good natured when we arrived a bit later than we originally thought.
The property is lovely, from the lemon trees in huge pots lining the driveway, to the view of the old city of Cortona. The buildings are set back from the road, so you can't really hear cars going by, not that there's that much traffic anyway!
The apartments we rented were clean and lovely (except for the spiders!), furnished with antiques as well as a few modern pieces of furniture. The apartment I stayed in was the kind of place I could live in for life.
The pool wasn't open yet, so I can't comment on that, but the setting is quiet and would be a great place to spend a day doing nothing!
The only negative thing was the cot-like bed I tried to sleep in...not very comfy! Oh...and the nightingale...had a hard time tuning that bird...
