“Great villa, wonderful location”

We stayed one week at Villa Sogara. We were with our three children, with friends and their 2 children.

The villa is very nice, extremely large which helps when you are as numerous as we were. The kitchen is a dream : very big, very stylish if you like the "countryside" style and equipped with all kind of required material (a big plus versus some holiday rentals).

The pool is very nice and is it very well fenced, which is a must when you have small children

The vineyards around are great, the immediate surroundings are nice (including a couple of down to earth and tasteful tratorrias) and the villa is very close to Verona, Padova, Vicenza and the lake of Garde.

A great place and a great base camp to tour the Veneto !!

Villa Sogara is a beautiful and unique property, a bit outside of the city, but that was just fine with us. Nestled among vineyards, olive trees and winding roads, it was a charming escape into the daily life of the Veneto. Tommaso and Ela are the most charming and down-to-earth inn-keepers/new friends one could ask for, and the view they offered into the villa's and their family's history in the area surpasses anything that could be gained from a history book. Combine Renaissance beauty and elegance with country home comfort and up-to-the minute, modern amemities and conveniences---and you have the ingredients for a perfect home-away-from-home. And then there are the cuckoos that call softly from the treetops all day long.....already plotting my return!

The rental rate includes the complete and exclusive residence in the villa, all expenses for water, electricity, gas, air conditioning, private swimming pool usage, internet adsl wifi access, daily cleaning service for bedrooms and bathrooms, and final cleaning. Linen and towels are provided, including pool towels. Swimming pool is open from the first week of June to the last week of September. From November 1st to April 15th central heating surcharge will apply. Phone bills are not included and must be paid separately. Security/damage deposit of euro 800 cash to be left at arrival.
