These General Terms and Conditions of Use describe the general terms and conditions under which AKENA Technologies provides a service enabling free, online access to holiday rental property advertisements.

All users of the aforementioned service shall hereinafter be referred to as "Users".

The aforementioned service is provided via a network of internet websites grouped together under the commercial name "MediaHols network".

All advertisements (adverts) published through MediaHols network website are produced and submitted for publication under the sole responsibility of their authors. AKENA Technologies declines all responsibility for the accuracy or relevance of said advertisements.

Under no circumstances will Akena Technologies act as an intermediary party for transactions between owners or their representatives and holiday rental property customers or their representatives.

AKENA Technologies may not be held liable for the quality, existence, security or legitimacy of the properties rented by holiday rental property customer, the veracity or the accuracy of the information contained in the advertisements published on its websites, advertisers' capacity to make said rented properties available for rent, or holiday rental property customers' capacity to pay for rental services or any other associated services.

Users are informed that the MediaHols network, for reasons relating to its liability as a publisher, and to uphold the quality of the holiday properties offered for rent, processes all comments submitted by holiday rental customers. Negative comments are systematically followed up to ascertain the nature of the claims made about the property. If the claims are substantiated, the property will be permanently removed from our database, or the owner required to edit the advert. Positive comments about holiday properties are published throughout the MediaHols network. Various checks and procedures have been put in place to prevent owners from submitting comments on their own properties.

Users are informed that the email addresses and contact details they provide on the websites will not be used for commercial purposes, nor will they be assigned to any third party. Users will receive 2 email messages from MediaHols inviting them to submit their comments on any property they may have rented. Exceptionally, following the submission of a complaint by a holiday rental property customer, Users may be sent an email message whose sole purpose is to check the characteristics of a specific property. The above-mentioned email messages have no commercial purpose whatsoever. Their only purpose is to improve the quality of the advertisement hosting service proposed to Users.

Users are entitled to exercise their right to access, modify, rectify or delete any personal data they may have submitted on a MediaHols network website. This right may be exercised by simply filling out this form.
