Though it's not located in the city center where you can reach the place by Metro, but the neighborhood of Anna Maria BnB is VERY safe, family friendly, quite and is easily reached by bus.
My sisters and I arrived late, at around 1 AM and checked out very early at 4 AM. But everything were going fine, it was safe. I personally will choose to stay at Anna Maria's neighborhood rather than near the Termini.
I also love the neighborhood during the diner time, it comes alive. I can hear the Italian vibrant of the families in the neighborhood preparing for the dinner. If you want to experience real Italian stay rather than touristic stay, this neighborhood is a perfect choice.
