5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014 for a stay in October 2012

I would have written this review much sooner had I the knowledge of how to initiate a first review for a property. Fortunately, it has been done by someone else now, and I can give my humble opinion.
When my wife and I decided to vacation in Italy a couple of years ago, we decided, "nothing tropical, no beaches and nothing modern." Living on the coast of Costa Rica in on our own boutique hotel, we get enough of that. For our introduction to Italy we chose Marco and Barbara's apartment and we are so glad we did. The location was absolutely perfect. It was out of the heavily transited "tourist zones" but only a two minute walk to the Pyramid metro station and a major bus hub. Combined with a tourist transportation pass (I think it was called a RomePass) that allowed transfers anywhere in the city for several days, we had complete access to anywhere that we wished to go within minutes. The view from the balcony faces north toward the heart of Rome...

5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013 for a stay in May 2013

We stayed in this 7th floor (small elevator) apartment for 4 days in mid-May and were thoroughly pleased with the experience. It is a short walk to the Metro (Pyramide) and major railroad station (Odiense) so you can get anywhere including the airport for 1.5E. There are very good restaurants nearby (Valle del Sacco), a small grocery (CarreFour) two blocks away and the excellent Eataly about six blocks. The apartment is comfortable with plenty of beds, a Jacuzzi bath and all the appliances you need. The owners are wonderful people, anxious to help you enjoy your stay any way they can. more
