My wife and I recently rented the one bedroom apartment for a one week stay in Rome and we did experience a whole range of problems. Firstly on arrivel there was no one at the apartment to meet us and it took many phone calls and some considerable time to gain access to the apartment. On the day that wearrived the weather in Rome was humid and 36 centigrade and hiking our suitcases up the 87 step access to the apartment left us totally soaked in pespiration and ready for a cold drink. Unfortunately the refrigerator in the apartmnent was broken so no cold drinks ! Then the promised wifi internet connection did not work and then in the evening we lost all power to the apartment and were just looking for a hotel to move into when Francesco the owner remembered a second electrical fuse box that a previous owner had fitted in a kitchen cupboard and we had power again, thank goodness.
So quite a lot of initial problems, but the owner, Francesco, was extremely helpful and did...
