Rome Apartment Casa Stefania is located in a 16th century building; a typical ancient cobblestoned side street in the old charming area of Trastevere where the same history remains unchanged over hundreds of years.

This Rome apartment has every amenity to make sure that your stay is comfortable - tastefully decorated in a mix of traditional and modern furnishings.

The apartment has a safe private entry on the ground level and as soon as you enter, it has a welcoming atmosphere; a living room with a huge wooden library dominates this spacious room and there's a sofa and some comfortable easy chairs for relaxing in front of the open fire place.

The dining table has been placed behind the sofa so that you can take advantage of the natural sunlight coming through the large windows.

A split level open doorway leads to the fully equipped kitchen with a marble top; the hallway from the kitchen leads to the first bedroom, which is a bunk style bed for two and there's also  an extra sofa bed for one person in this room.

The first bathroom is right next door, very modern with a shower.

Further down the corridor you'll find another level - a charming room with a comfortable sofa for two people and the second bathroom is on the same level.

There's also a modern loft area with a double bed above this room which has a window overlooking a small flowering rooftop.

This combined loft area in the same room as the sofa for two makes this area semi private, however not totally private, so we suggest good friends or family would be more comfortable in this part of the apartment.

Trastevere itself will also offer you many interesting restaurants surrounding these cobblestoned streets where you'll mix with the friendly locals.

Don't forget to sample the freshly baked bread even on Sunday at the bakery in Via Genovesi, almost next door to your apartment.

You'll be walking distance to most historic monuments and also have the option of jumping on a tram five minutes away that will take you to the center in just a few stops.
