This Rome holiday accommodation is a wonderful oasis outside of the city, still very convenient to the center. In this Rome apartment for rent, you'll have access to the grounds of the villa, including a large swimming pool, and enjoy all the benefits of a countryside setting—such as a quiet sleep at night! Although it is the outskirts of Rome, the owners provide free transportation to and from the nearby train station, making trips to the city easy and convenient!

This contemporary, architectural villa is comprised of two independent 1st floor apartments and one independent ground floor apartment. The owner's living quarters are on the ground floor, and are completely separate. The villa is located in the green Roman countryside, just five minutes from the village of Prima Porta [3 km]. The owner is a longtime collector of 15th and 16th century antiques and her treasures are displayed throughout the villa. A small train station offers easy access to Rome; the trip to Piazza Flaminia [just a few steps from the Piazza del Popolo] is only 20 minutes. Roundtrip tickets are roughly 1.50. Guests have access to the villa's beautiful swimming pool, equipped with lounge chairs and a large umbrella. A lawn and annual flowerbeds surround the pool. Each apartment also has its own covered terrace or patio, complete with large table, chairs, and an assortment of flowering plants. Although the apartments are part of a large villa, they are entirely private and have their own independent entrances. Two of the apartments share the same entrance. In addition to providing easy access to Rome, Villa Delros is also well suited to lazy days by the pool, or day trips to the Roman coast or lake region. The GRA, or Grande Raccordo Anulare [ring road surrounding the city] is three miles away. The owner, a gracious woman of Swiss descent, speaks excellent English and will see to her guests' absolute comfort. The property is enclosed and access is by a remote controlled gate. Parking. Please note: a car is necessary for this property. The nearest train station is in Prima Porta, a five-minute drive by car [all shops and restaurants].

Ground Floor. This spacious studio has the bedroom area divided from the living/dining area by large glass planter. There are two full-size beds [pushed together] draped with a gauzy canopy, a kitchenette, and a bathroom with tub and a shower. The sitting area has a fireplace, a comfortable sofa and a marble dining table. The large private patio, which leads directly to the pool and garden, has a table and chairs for outside dining. Amenities include: hair dryer, TV, telephone. Maid service and babysitting available on request. Electricity [Air conditioning and heating] to be paid on the spot according to usage. Central heating.
