    Résidence Villa 3 is a recently refurbished, 2/3 bedroomed duplex apartment (including an open mezzanine bedroom) on the top two floors of a traditional Chamonix building. The lower floor comprises an open plan living and dining area with a double sofabed, a fully equipped kitchen, a twin bedroom, a luxury shower room and a second full bathroom. On the upper level there is a further twin bedroom and a single mezzanine room. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to make self-catering easy. There is no lift in the building and a walk up three levels of stairs is required to reach the front door of the apartment.

    The apartment is furnished to a high standard with modern furniture and design throughout. There is a TV, DVD player, Playstation, iPod speakers and Wi-Fi access. The apartment has a private cave for ski storage and it is allocated a secure underground parking space - a rarity in such a central location. There are beautiful views from three sides of the apartment including three windows all looking up to Mont Blanc. Tthe apartment has its own washing machine and there is plenty of hanging space to dry items or there is a full self-service launderette near the entrance to the apartment block.

First, great value for money. Second, location, we drove all the way from London. Getting there we did park the cars on a covered garage, we only took the cars out on the departure time. I was somewhat nervous having never before booked through this organisation but my fears were not justified. The booking and checking in procedures were very smooth. Good service from the Sno-station team who also arranged discounted ski-passes that were waiting for us in the apartment on our arrival.
