Three generations of family and friends stayed in the Trup’s delightful Chalet Elicer for May half term and we found the house suited everyone.
The general feel is of a family home you’ve been lent – well appointed and very comfortable, without being ‘precious’.
Everyone loved the views, which could be seen from inside and outside the house – it certainly fitted the request for “a view of lake and mountains” and there were often para-gliders flying from the opposite side to add excitement.
There are plenty of places on two levels inside to sit and read, eat, play games or just relax. Outside a BBQ and large table face the lake, which we used for several meals.
The pool (one depth, about adult chest height) with surrounding loungers, games room, excellent hot-tub and table tennis were all well used, and the parents among us found the toddler friendly environment (cot, stair gates, highchair, pool fence, lots of games, space to play ball etc) worked very well... more
