    "La Bastide des Micocouliers" at PROVENCE PARADISE is an early 18th century stone building with high ceilings, best suited for two couples and/or for a family with several children.

    Restoration of this particular 17th century property involved the creation of an entirely new floor of creature comforts, with all of the modern conveniences that guests would expect from a five-star property.
    This beautifully restored building offers full air conditioning along with a glass-roofed and enclosed terrace with wet bar and large dining room table that seats eight. Popular day-trips from our "hamlet" include Arles with its Roman ruins, Avignon and the Papal Palace, the Luberon, the beaches of the Mediterranean, ...fields of poppies, lavender in bloom, bull-fights, folk festivals, etc., the list goes on and on.

    We are literally in the middle of Provence, with mountains, the seashore, museums, provencal markets, cycling and even...cooking classes and wine tasting... within easy access.

I can't imagine a more perfect place to stay. The property/setting is just lovely and allows for a lot of flexibility with the kitchen, outdoor area, pool, grills, etc.. We truly enjoyed our stay at La Bastide, from the moment we arrived the owner William, really took care if us, He had wine and dinner waiting, after our long journey it was perfect. Every morning he came with fresh pastries and in the evening would have champagne and cheese tray! The pool was so relaxing and accomodations were perfect.... more
