We booked this apartment because of the proximity to public transport and because of the view. The view is spectacular, just as shown in the photos.
It’s an older property which has been split up into apartments and as it’s on a rather noisy road it’s not really a peaceful setting. Even with the windows closed there’s no escaping the road noise and with the window open you get the exhaust fumes too. The immediate area is largely residential; you’ve generally got to go a bit further afield for shops and restaurants. We didn’t have a car and we usually like to eat out a lot on holiday but there were few restaurants within an easy walking distance of the apartment so we found that eating in was easier most evenings. There is a reasonable supermarket about a 20 minute walk towards Monaco. One restaurant that can be reached on foot which I would recommend is La Differance on the coastal footpath, also about a 20 minute walk in the direction of Monaco. They don’t take cards...
