Can't fault the sUper apartment, well equipped with lovely views across the mountains. Just a short walk to the small but friendly town with shops, bars and cafes to entertain. Free parking everywhere. August 15 fireworks down the mountain at Isola were brilliant so make the effort to go if you are there then as there are none in Isola Deux Mille. In summer there are arranged trips, sports, walks and a weekly BBQ a short walk up in the mountains although one excursion was cancelled at short notice due to lack of bookings.
A shame that not all the possible lifts up the mountains were running although some were. The outdoor pool in the resort is small but not expensive, the indoor pool in the building is very small and okay for a splash but not much more.
The daily bus to Nice for one euro fifty each way is a bonus if you feel the need of a bit of bustle and seaside. more
