Firstly the property: the house is small but is as was advertised, and was in pristine condition. The terrace was a real bonus, and although the house is very close to the main square in Haut de Cagnes, it was very peaceful. The agent met us on arrival at the square (even though we were late as our train was delayed), and was very knowledgeable of the area. She also met us at end of our trip to return our security deposit, and was very eager to learn our thoughts on our stay and how it could be improved (this is a new rental).
Haut de Cagnes was a lovely place to stay: the main square is surrounded by restaurants, and is full of families with their children. It is a very well heeled place to spend an evening. The shuttle bus was very convenient for getting up and down the hill, although walking down in the morning was a nice change .
Cagnes sur Mer is perhaps less enticing, although it is only a 10 minute walk from the shuttle bus drop off point to the railway... more
