My sister, my daughter, and I stayed in Laurent's beautiful apartment for a week during our stay in Aix, and I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it. Let's get the negatives out of the way because they are few and far exceeded by the many positives.
We were supposed to meet Laurent at his office, which we never did find. We ended up parking down the street and calling him. He walked to our car (we were within a block) and guided us to the apartment. If possible, I would recommend meeting Laurent at the apartment. There is usually ample (paid) parking on the street, and you can explore the neighborhood while waiting for your appointment time. If you arrive right on time, the French seem to be fairly lenient about temporarily parking in the driveways across the street.
