Firstly this area of France is fantastic and most definitely worth a visit.....this property isn't!.
It is in a noisy location situated between 2 roads ( one leads to a quarry and has regular lorry traffic) and a railway line. There are even signs on the double glazed windows to keep them shut if you don't want to be woken by traffic in the morning!
The property itself is not luxury , it looks quaint but the interior is a little run down , the furniture is old and it doesn't have 2 en suite bathrooms as advertised it only has 1.The general air of being run down extends to the patio which has seen better days as has the furniture provided here.
The 22 acres is not really accessible as only the area around the house and pool is cultivated , the rest is left grow which looks nice but means if you walk in there , which we did in the first days , you get badly bitten by all manner of insects , which is awful , especially if you have young... more
