By French standards, this apartment is huge and by North American standards, it is a very comfortable size. The architectural elements are wonderful from the marquise over the entrance, to the decorative plaster work on the ceilings, the period mirrors and the leaded windows with stain glass. The host was very responsive to our query but following our initial query, no other assistance was required as the information provided on the bulletin board was self-explanatory.
The bedrooms are spacious, with an excellent work area in each bedroom. (We did have to move an extension cord from the living room to the bedroom to be able to use both the computer and the desk lamp at the same time).
The neighbourhood is very quiet and well worth a stroll if you enjoy architecture of the early 1800’s.
