'Exceptional period mansion in the centre of Saint Germain en Laye, dating back to the XVII century, sleeps up to 12.

We welcome you to our stunning seventeenth century mansion with a past that is rich in history. It was originally the residence of the Duke of Noailles, Marshal of France under the reign of Louis XIV, the Sun King. The property was built in 1679 by the famous architect Mansart, who was responsible for the design of the Château de Versailles and for the reconstruction of the Château Vieux, the royal residence of Saint Germain en Laye. In an estate combing modern elegance and traditional décor, you'll find yourself plunged into the world of the French aristocracy in the time of absolute monarchy. The present building is what remains of the palace after the ravages of...

Saint-Germain-en-Laye is a great location to avoid the chaos caused by heavy traffic in the heart of Paris, just 30 minutes away. Especially if your planned visits in Paris include farther attractions like Palais de Versailles, chateaux in the region of Loire (like Chambord, Chenonceau... among 300 other chateaux), and the maison of Monet, etc. It makes Saint-Germain-en-Laye a strategical central location of your stay just outside Paris. But if you just want to experience Paris, it may not be your best choice. Restaurants, superstores, markets and attractions are found easily in the neighbourhood.

With it's 350-year history, the Hotel de Noailles added much romantic touch of the very tasteful and luxurious French culture and aesthetics to our one-week stay in France. With this accommodation we were able to merge into a more French daily life than being mere passers-by of the adorable city.

Despite the history, the premises is definitely clean and comfortable enough...
