The house was built over 500 years ago but has every modern convenience. Now with free wifi internet and TV/DVD! There is a large and comfortable beamed living room with a wonderful historical open fire place. There is also effective central heating and it is ideal for all year lets. There is a lovely dining area comfortably seating six people and a fully equipped kitchen should you be tempted to stay in and cook some of the wonderful local produce. The house is comfortably furnished and there is a downstairs WC and upstairs bathroom with shower and three bedrooms. The main bedroom has lovely A-framed beams and a beautiful new luxury King Size bed (not shown in photo). Great stay in a great town. There were five in our group ranging from 14 to 85 years old. This is a great historic place with modern updates. The street is wonderful and the neighbors are a charming British couple (Robert and Jill) who run a nice little shop that offers coffee and tea to jump start your morning. The... more

A great little 500 year old house. This place has a lot of charm. It has a beautiful front room with an incredible fireplace that is clearly the highlight of the house. The garden is cute, but overgrown. I suspect the owner likes it that way, but I really wanted to clear out the weeds and moss. But alas -... more
