I cannot agree more with the previous review, I stayed with my family for a week in mid August. I chose this property following research & correspondence with Campden Cottages, Blakemans could & should be one of the best rental properties in the area but is let down by the standard of house keeping, maintenance & attention to detail. This is a wonderful property set in the idyllic location of Chipping Camden, unfortunately we have just returned early from a weeks stay having found the cottage to be desperately in need of a good clean and requiring some much needed attention, before booking Blakeman’s Cottage I contacted the agents direct to make sure of it's quality and standard, they...

Stayed here for a week in July with my husband, two kids and in-laws. A lovely rental with plenty of room for us all. Very comfortable beds, lovely big towels, large spotless bathrooms, beautiful patio area for outdoor eating. Village had plenty of pubs and restaurants and a great cafe in the Old Silk Mill. Really enjoyed our stay. more

The front door opens into the “L” shaped sitting room. In the main body of the room there is comfortable seating for 6. The main fireplace is non working. However, in the “leg” of the room there is a woodburning stove. This fully carpeted room faces is light and sunny. Large, wall mounted flat screen TV with Sky. DVD player. Bose sound system throughout the house

The well planned kitchen has cream cupboards, granite worktops and a solid oak breakfast bar. There is a large Mercury range cooker gas hob (with special wok ring) and electric ovens and stainless steel extractor fan. Miele dishwasher. Amana American style side by side fridge freezer with ice cube maker. Microwave, cafetiere, Duralit toaster. Television

A dog is welcome by prior arrangement at £4 per night
A £150 cleaning/damage deposit is charged on all bookings.
There is no booking fee.
Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer (any bank charges must be paid by the customer), Visa or Mastercard. If by card there is a 2% card handling charge except for UK debit cards where there is no handling charge.
