“A wonderful base to explore the City”

We stayed here for 3 nights over half term to sight see and attend a University Applicant day. Excellent location - walk to the right for 5 minutes and you are at Holyrood Palace - walk to the left for 5 minutes and you get to the bottom of Princess Street (theatre/John Lewis). So we parked the car in the garage (just got a Kia Cee'd in) and we walked or got the bus. Very quiet location in a little square and delightful neighbours. The cottage is well equipped - main bedroom and bathroom downstairs and 2nd bedroom and living area/kitchen upstairs. For the price you pay there is really no quibbles considering you are right in the centre of the City.

“Very comfortable mews house in fabulous central location”

This was a great find. Very central - just off Carlton Hill - and a very good base from seeing Edinburgh. The accommodation is perfect for a family - having a sitting-room and open-plan dining room/kitchen is a welcome change to hotel rooms. Nicely furnished and very quiet.
