We received a warm welcome and a tour of the Cottage. Although the Cottage is attached to the owner's house we hardly saw them. Was greeted by Sue the owner who was most welcoming, she had made fresh welsh cakes for us. Took our dog max who loved the garden and canal walk which was 2 minutes away. Three miles from Abergavenny which was a lovely place to visit,. Will definatley return in the future.
While working in the area I stayed here over a series of weeks as a fantastic alternative to Hotels. The place works well as a base for travelling the area. A canal and a few hills are close by for walking. A small pub is also about 10 minutes walk for a bite of food.
