This is a first floor flat in a listed (I presume), Georgian (I think) town house very close to the main shopping precinct and 10 minutes walk from the cathedral. It is a busy street and two (the double en suite and the single) of the bedrooms are on the street side, so are noisy. There is no double glazing in the property. Both double bedrooms are very spacious and with comfortable beds. The water tank and central heating pump is located in a cupboard in the back bedroom and this can be create a noise intrusion. The sitting room is very large and very comfortable with two good sized and very nice sofas. The room faces south and on a sunny day is a delight. The central heating was effective at keeping the place warm though might struggle if it were below freezing. The en-suite bathroom has a shower only. Both bathrooms are kept warm by large heated towel rails. The kitchen is well equipped and has all you need, though we thought it a bit mean that no refuse sacks or dishwasher... more
