I found the condition of Birchwood House very disappointing.
The property was used far too much for storage and as a worksite meaning trucks and vans constantly using the garage and driveways, driving up one drive and cutting across the garden to the other. This is not ideal for children playing in the garden.
There was a tip site at the top of the garden with old fridges, freezers and cookers, again not ideal for children playing and just an eyesore.
Inside the house was disgusting. There was a leaking shower which caused the water to leak through the ceiling (we did call and this was fixed 2 days later). There was mould on pillow cases and curtains in the front bedroom. The bathrooms were not clean. The living room carpet was disgusting, it was stained really bad. There is a wasp bike in the loft meaning we had 10 – 12 dead / living wasps every day (this was reported). The mattresses on a few of the beds were a disgrace, the springs were coming... more
