We stayed at Willow Barn for our 9th anniversary as we wanted a relaxing experience and somewhere close to a national trust park to go for walks with our dog. We found it difficult to find but we did arrive on the evening and it was dark. After an initial warm welcome by the owner we settled in. We were a little disappointed that a few little touches were missing such as a glove for using the wood burner, no kindle for the burner, no tea towels or oven glove to get food out of the oven although when we asked the owner this was provided. We had a fabulous few days walking along the long mynd and spent most our time out walking. The barn was well laid out and an ideal base. As it was our anniversary we were hoping for a romantic weekend however the log burner glass was black so we could not see the fire and the mattress on the bed was exceptionally thin and we left an evening early as we could not sleep comfortably.
